Instead of written research essays for a final paper, students in HIST 2391 prepared independently-researched digital exhibits using Omeka, an open-source web-publishing tool. In using Omeka, students were able to provide a more dynamic engagement and connection with their research and the maps that informed their work. Here are four examples of the scholarship produced this past spring.
